Boathouse Row is located at East River Street. Boathouse Row is near Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is between Kelly Drive and the Schuylkill River. This place is used for clubs like the Vesper Boat Club. There is also a skating club. Further down the river, you’ll find the East Park Canoe Club and the Philadelphia Canoe Club.
Boathouse Row has twelve houses. The houses are mostly red, green, and brown. Boathouse Row looks like a peninsula, because three sides of the houses are covered with water.
Boathouse Row has its own unique history. Boathouse Row is a National Historic Landmark. There is a body of water where you can go swimming and boating.
On Christmas all of the twelve houses will light up. At night the light of the houses will reflect on the water.
